The moment when something new begins  / The moment something new begins

Mixed Meia on wooden body 4 cm deep

The image radiates a A thoughtful, mysterious, and at the same time hopeful mood The focus is on the functioning clock – and this gives the work a very special meaning: Time does not stand still. It keeps moving forward.

The clock acts as a symbol for the present moment. It reminds us that every moment is unique and that we cannot return. At the same time, however, it does not embody a depressing transience, but rather a feeling of Departure and anticipation.

The cool turquoise, blue and green tones convey Peace, depth and vastness. In between, warm gold, yellow, and rust tones shine through – like little signs of Hope, remembrance and new life. The different structures and the suggested lettering make the image look like an old story that has not yet been fully told.

The contrast between the old, detailed clock and the rather open, abstract surroundings. It seems as if the past is meeting the future. The clock preserves something old, while the colors beneath and around it remain in flux.

For me, the picture tells the story of this very special moment., in which something ends and at the same time something new begins. The ticking clock makes this thought immediately tangible:

Time waits – but it always gives us a new moment.
